What is AAIRS Authorization?

Authorization refers what an authenticated user is authorized to do and see.  The AAIRS Authorization module is how Tegrity integrates with external authorization sources to get this information for a user.

At least one authorization source must be configured for a user to be able to login.

Typically authorization sources are CMS platforms that contain the course and role information for users such as Blackboard, Angel, WebCT, Sakai, Moodle, etc.

AAIRS can seamlessly integrate with multiple authorization sources at once, pulling the dataset for an authenticated user wherever they exist.
