Troubleshooting: Tegrity Installer Error
Issue: When attempting to install Tegrity, the following error occurs:
Tegrity Installer
An inconsistent software version was detected with the Tegrity Server. Item: Run-time environment.
Solution: This error usually indicates that there is a conflict between the version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable that is already installed and the version Tegrity is attempting to install. Please uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) instances. Once successfully uninstalled, please try installing Tegrity again.
Optional Solution: You can also download and install the Redistributable files from Microsoft’s website here.
Note: If you are using a 64-bit operating system, make sure you install the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. If you are not sure which version you are using, search for System Information in Windows and open it. In the right pane, find System Type.
