How to: Use an HDMI or HD/HD-SDI capable video input with Tegrity

In order to record from HDMI or DH/HD-SDI compatible input device – for example Sony EVIHD1 – a proper capture card has to be acquired.

HDMI and HD/HD-SDI support different cabling systems, therefore you have to choose a capture card supporting the right option. In case with mentioned Sony EVIHD1 device it is HD/HD-SDI.

Any DirectShow compatible capture card would work, so, for example, you could use a DeckLink SDI™ and DeckLink Studio™ cards from Blackmagicdesign , as it supports HD/HD-SDI input.
