MacOS 10.15 Catalina Update

Users who have upgraded their Mac computers to MacOS 10.15 Catalina have been reporting issues with some of the functionality of the Tegrity Recorder.

The issue is being actively investigated by our development team.

In the meantime, if you need to use the Tegrity Recorder to create a recording or take a proctored test, it is advised that you delay updating to Catalina. If you have already updated to Catalina, you could either downgrade the OS X to Mojave or use another available computer to create your Tegrity recording.

Tegrity Lecture Capture iOS App (Version: 1.1.6 (2)):
– Fix: When recordings ends, user is redirected to previous page
– Fix: Non-English characters in course name caused name to be truncated in course list

Ending Tegrity Campus Services Notification

Tegrity Recorder Bug Notification – Recorder Stops in PowerPoint Presentation Mode

An issue was discovered that affects the Tegrity PC Recorder (build 7.5.3.2507) — when using PowerPoint, the Tegrity Recorder stops when going into presentation mode.

Our developers are reverting the PC Recorder to the previous version (build 7.5.3.2487).

If a computer has already been updated to the new PC Recorder build 2507, then the Recorder will need to be manually uninstalled. Build 2487 will reinstall when the user starts a new Tegrity recording.
