Ending Tegrity Campus Services Notification

McGraw-Hill has a long-standing commitment to offering the highest quality educational programs and materials, and our relationships with our higher education institutions are of great importance to us. Because we value your partnership, we are writing to provide you advance notification that we will be ending the Tegrity Lecture Capture Service next year on June 30, 2020.

Although we recognize the value that the Tegrity Lecture Capture Service provides, McGraw-Hill will be concentrating its resources and technology investments in other core areas to better support you in the future. We are increasing our focus on enhancing our personalized learning tools and integrating real-time data in our programs, such as McGraw-Hill Connect, which will continue to include the Tegrity recording and proctoring tool free to users.

We are sharing this news with you as early as possible to ensure you have enough time to select a new solution and prepare for a smooth transition. You can contact your McGraw-Hill Account Manager or the Tegrity Technical Support Team for assistance throughout the process and to answer your questions. In anticipation of some immediate questions you may have, we prepared the following Ending Tegrity Campus Services FAQs. 2018 Christmas Holiday Office Closure

The Tegrity Technical Support office will be closed on December 24-25, in observance of the Christmas Holiday. If you have a support issue, please call and leave a voicemail or send an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

2018 Thanksgiving Holiday Office Closure

Tegrity Maintenance Bulletin TEG18-002

Maintenance is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 11, 2018, between 1am-4am ET

Access to Tegrity services will not be available during this time

UPDATE on 11/7/2018: The scheduled end time was extended from 3am to 4am ET

Service Disruption – 11/5/2018

There was a disruption to the Tegrity service between the hours of 8:45 and 10:45 PM CST. During this time, users were unable to access their Tegrity instance and would receive an error when uploading recordings.

Service was restored around 10:45 PM CST. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.

2018 Labor Day Office Closure

The Tegrity Technical Support office will be closed on Monday, September 3, in observance of Labor Day. If you have a support issue, please call and leave a voicemail or send an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

LDAP Authentication Issues

UPDATE: Tegrity service is back to normal operations as of 12:15 PM CDT.

The issue was caused by a network setting change to the Tegrity AAIRS services by AWS ELB. Our engineers have resolved the issue and users are able to successfully login directly to Tegrity with their LDAP credentials.

Instances configured to use LDAP for Direct Login Authentication may be experiencing user login failures. We are actively working with our engineers to resolve this issue.

As a workaround, users can use the SSO link in their LMS courses to access Tegrity recordings.

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue is causing. Updates on this issue will be posted here.

2018 Independence Day Office Closure

The Tegrity Technical Support office will be closed on July 4, in observance of Independence Day. If you have a support issue, please call and leave a voicemail or send an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

iOS App Update Notification

Tegrity iOS app version 1.1.2 will be available beginning Sunday, June 3. The update includes the following changes:

– Fix for the Help link
– Other bug fixes

Tegrity Maintenance Bulletin TEG18-001

Maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out on Sunday, June 3, 2018, between 2am-6am ET
No downtime or service disruption is expected with this update

Changes:

– Fix: Courses do not appear in View Course List after recordings were restored
– Fix: Some Moodle courses with Tegrity recordings were issuing warning messages (rescheduled to 6/10/2018)
– Fix: Some users were unable to download a video podcast
– Fix: The instructor camera would record at the lowest resolution on some Windows computers
– Fix: Discrepancies in viewing times on custom viewing reports
– Fix: Some courses would appear in View Course List without an instructor
– Fix: Some recordings would get stuck in “IE, FF, Safari Ready”
– Fix: List of supported operating systems shown in Tegrity diagnostics
– New: Link to the updated MHE Privacy Policy page in Web Application footer to support GDPR
